Руководство по очистке и техническому обслуживанию OTOUCH
Before You Start
Proper preparation ensures safe and effective cleaning of your OTOUCH products.
- Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water before handling your device
- Power off the device completely and disconnect from any charging cables
- Remove detachable sleeves or accessories for separate cleaning
- Prepare warm water (not hot) and mild, fragrance-free soap or specialized toy cleaner
- Avoid harsh chemicals including alcohol, bleach, acetone, or abrasive cleaners
- Check waterproof rating before submerging any electronic components
Never use boiling water, harsh chemicals, or abrasive materials. These can damage the material and void your warranty.
Cleaning by Material
Different materials require different care approaches:
Silicone (Body-Safe)
- Wash with warm water and mild soap or toy cleaner
- Can be boiled for 3-5 minutes for deep sterilization (non-electronic parts only)
- Compatible with water-based and silicone-based lubricants
- Highly durable and non-porous
TPE/TPR Sleeves
- More porous than silicone, requires thorough cleaning
- Use warm water and antibacterial toy cleaner
- Pat dry completely and apply renewal powder if recommended
- Use only water-based lubricants
- Replace every 3-6 months with regular use
ABS Plastic (Hard Shell)
- Wipe down with damp cloth and mild soap
- Avoid submerging unless marked waterproof
- Dry immediately to prevent water spots
Metal Components
- Clean with warm soapy water
- Dry thoroughly to prevent oxidation
- Can be sterilized by boiling (if no electronic parts)
Waterproof vs Water-Resistant
| Rating | Can Submerge? | Cleaning Method |
|---|---|---|
| Waterproof (IPX7+) | Yes | Full submersion in water OK |
| Water-Resistant (IPX4-6) | No | Wipe with damp cloth only |
| Not Rated | No | Spot clean with barely damp cloth |

Special Care for Advanced Features
Heating Functions
- Allow device to cool completely before cleaning
- Never submerge heating elements
- Wipe heating areas with barely damp cloth only
- Ensure completely dry before next use
Suction/Vacuum Motors
- Do not flood motor compartments with water
- Clean air vents with soft, dry brush
- Use damp cloth around vent areas, not inside
- Allow 24 hours drying time before use
Motorized Components
- Never use boiling water on electronic parts
- Keep charging ports completely dry
- Avoid getting water in button crevices
- If water enters motor area, dry immediately and let air dry for 48 hours
Water damage to motors and electronics is NOT covered under warranty. Always check your product's waterproof rating before cleaning.
Drying & Storage
Proper Drying Technique
- Shake vigorously to remove excess water from sleeves and crevices
- Pat dry with clean, lint-free cloth or paper towel
- Air dry completely for 12-24 hours in well-ventilated area
- Verify 100% dry before storage (check all interior surfaces)
Storage Best Practices
- Store in breathable fabric pouch or original packaging
- Avoid plastic bags (can trap moisture and cause mold)
- Keep in cool, dry place away from direct sunlight
- Store away from extreme heat or humidity
- Keep different materials separated (silicone can react with TPE)
- Ensure devices are powered off during storage
Add a small silica gel packet to your storage pouch to absorb any residual moisture and prevent mold growth.
Battery & Charging Care
Charging Safety
- Always ensure device is completely dry before charging
- Keep charging port clean and free of debris
- Use only the provided USB cable and compatible adapter
- Avoid overcharging (unplug when fully charged)
- Charge in well-ventilated area away from flammable materials
Long-Term Storage
- Charge battery to 50-70% before long-term storage
- Recharge every 3 months if not in use
- Store in cool, dry environment (avoid extreme temperatures)
- Do not store fully depleted or fully charged
Never charge a wet device. Water in charging ports can cause short circuits, fire hazard, or permanent damage.

Troubleshooting Common Issues
Unpleasant Odor
Cause: Bacterial growth from incomplete cleaning or drying
Solution:
- Deep clean with antibacterial toy cleaner
- Soak removable parts in warm water with toy cleaner for 20 minutes
- Rinse thoroughly and air dry for 24+ hours
- If odor persists, replace sleeve
Sticky or Tacky Surface
Cause: Material degradation or lube residue
Solution:
- Wash thoroughly with toy cleaner
- Apply cornstarch-based renewal powder (for TPE only)
- If stickiness continues, material may be degrading—replace sleeve
Mold or Discoloration
Cause: Stored while damp or in humid environment
Solution:
- Discard affected sleeve immediately (mold is health hazard)
- Clean hard components with diluted vinegar solution
- Ensure 100% drying before future storage
- Use silica gel packets in storage
Weak Motor Performance
Cause: Water damage or battery degradation
Solution:
- Ensure device is completely dry
- Fully charge battery
- If problem persists, contact OTOUCH support
Unusual Noise During Use
Cause: Water in motor or mechanical issue
Solution:
- Stop use immediately
- Disassemble and air dry for 48 hours
- If noise continues, do not use—contact support
Frequently Asked Questions
Clean your device before and after every single use. This prevents bacterial growth, maintains material integrity, and ensures optimal hygiene. For devices used daily, perform a deep clean once per week.
No. Alcohol can degrade silicone and TPE materials, causing cracking, discoloration, and material breakdown. Always use toy-safe cleaners or mild, fragrance-free soap.
Absolutely not. Dishwasher temperatures are too high and can warp, melt, or damage materials. Harsh dishwasher detergents can also degrade toy-safe materials. Always hand wash.
Shake vigorously to remove excess water, then insert a clean, lint-free cloth or paper towel to absorb interior moisture. Stand upright or hang to air dry for 12-24 hours in a well-ventilated area. Never use a hairdryer or heat source.
Mild, fragrance-free, pH-balanced hand soap is acceptable. Avoid antibacterial soaps with triclosan, heavily fragranced soaps, or moisturizing soaps with oils. Specialized toy cleaners are recommended for best results.
For TPE/TPR sleeves: Use only water-based lubricants. For silicone toys: Water-based is safest, though high-quality silicone lube may be compatible. Never use oil-based lubricants as they degrade materials.
Use a lockable storage box, bedside drawer with lock, or dedicated storage case. Ensure the storage location is cool, dry, and away from direct sunlight. Always store devices in breathable pouches, not sealed plastic bags.
Replace TPE sleeves every 3-6 months with regular use, or immediately if you notice tears, persistent odor, discoloration, stickiness, or mold. Silicone parts last longer but should be replaced if damaged or degraded.
